Crazy World Screen Print T-Shirt Design

T-Shirt Concept: Retro feel script inspired by 1960’s give a nostalgic air of groovy fun. Linear & palm silhouette detail mimic a cool, beachy scene.

Process: Orange, 100% preshrunk cotton tees were acid washed individually by hand, dried & handed off for printing locally in Oakland, CA

Design Details: Leaning into the retro 1960’s inspired style, I located a laundry mat with complementary core colors: marigold, browns and oranges. Capturing the handmade detail and variation of the acid washed tees was important for both accuracy of merch listings for online sales and for the target audience who value small batch design and drive sales.

Sales Strategy: sales were captured on a presale basis to reduce waste with discount incentive for early buyers. Single release sold out in 1 week.

Packaging Strategy: intentionally designed “Welcome to the Club” merch insert for further connect with customers. Individually packed with tissue, metallic gold seal & insert for elevated customer experience with high attention to detail.
