SF Botanical Garden

Say hello to the newest and most bio-diverse venue yet. This location option is for the dreamer and adventurer! Just a stones throw from the SF Academy of Sciences and De Young Museum, SF Botanical Garden is sectioned by climate. Temperature Asia offers sweeping views of bamboo forests, sun kisses palms and the perfect cover for vibrant and warm hues even on the cloudiest of days. If you’ve imagined a picture perfect scene with variable landscapes by global region, look no further. This one’s for you.

Note: This is the only location that sadly does not allow pets.

 

Marcom Rose Garden, Oakland

Think classic white pillars framing beautiful cobblestone walls covered in ivy, this heirloom Rose Garden is just blocks away from Lake Merritt and in bloom year round. With large areas of grass ideal for picnics, lush modern landscaping, cascading water features and towering redwood groves in the distance. There’s no shortage of scenic sets or walking trails at this location, too. Who knows, you may even see the resident turkey roaming the grounds!

 

Redwood Regional, Oakland Hills

Year round Redwood Regional Park is vibrant, lush and a force to be reckoned with. With the rainy seasons come massive mushrooms, moss covered Oaks, ferns and ancient Redwood trees. In the Fall the hills lights up, with the trees dressed in vibrant yellow, rusty orange and bright green hues in preparation for their annual shed. No matter the season, the raw and rustic scenes set the perfect tone for some old fashioned family fun.

 

Westline Drive, Alameda Beach

From the street, this hidden cove is hardly detected! Making it ideal for photos, with little beach foot traffic. Nestled on the shore line at the curve of Westline Drive and Shoreline, you’ll see tall pampas grasses swaying in the Bay breeze and sweeping views of SF skyline in the background. Morning sun is gives us light and airy tones, where the hour just before sunset promises rich, warm, golden hues.
